The Fine Print

Update (October 24, 11:42 a.m. ET): Tickets are no longer available for shows on October 25 or 26th. Call TheaterWorks' box office after purchasing your voucher to reserve your seat at 860-527-7838. On the night of the performance, bring the printed voucher and a valid photo ID to the theater box office at City Arts on Pearl, 233 Pearl Street, Hartford, CT. You will be given one ticket (reg. $50) to the show. Must be 16 or older.

The Deal

Nominated for six Tony Awards including Best Play, the comedic play "The Mother-F#@*&R With the Hat" opens at TheaterWorks in Hartford, and tickets for nine different shows are now 50% off.

The play, which opened on Broadway less than a year ago, centers around a couple who has been in love since the eighth grade, only to have a jail sentence and a hat come between them. The New Yorker calls it "one of the best new plays in ages."

General Admission tickets for this show are now $25 (regularly $50). There are 40 seats available for each of the following performances at TheaterWorks:

• Saturday, Oct. 22 at 8 p.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 23 at 2:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Must be 16 or older to be admitted to this show.
