The Deal

Save 50% on tickets to season-opening performances by Miami City Ballet in Fort Lauderdale. The company's 2012-13 season starts this weekend with "Program I: Fire and Ice."

Section B seats (Rear Orchestra and Mid-Mezzanine) are $32.50 (reg. $65) and Section A seats (Front Orchestra and Front Mezzanine) are $47.50 (reg. $95).

Choose from the following performances at Broward Center:

• Friday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m.

The program features "Les Patineurs (The Skating Party)" by renowned choreographer Sir Frederick Ashton, Balanchine's first great masterwork "Apollo" and the steamy, tango-inspired "Piazzolla Caldera" by Paul Taylor.
