The Fine Print

Vouchers are valid Monday-Friday and may be redeemed starting Monday, Dec. 27, through April 11, 2011. Not valid on holidays. One voucher can be used per person per visit. Each voucher must be used in full in 1 visit. Reservations are required. No refunds can be issued. Those over 6 feet tall cannot exceed 250 pounds; those under 6 feet cannot exceed 230 pounds. Pregnant women and those with a history of heart, neck and back problems or shoulder dislocations cannot fly. Valid for ages 3 and up; participants under 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian with them. Gratuity not included. This deal cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value or cash back.

The Deal

For $40, experience the thrill of skydiving while hovering only a few feet above the ground. iFLY SF Bay offers Travelzoo subscribers more than 50% off two flights in its indoor flying simulator. This Earn Your Wings package includes training from a certified flight instructor, use of all gear and a free DVD of the flight experience (a $25 value).
A safer alternative to free-falling 12,000 feet to the earth, iFLY's vertical wind tunnel creates air currents that lift quasi skydivers off their feet. While the fliers float weightlessly above the ground, a camera captures the flight on DVD -- a keepsake of the adventure.
