The Deal

Designed to demystify the intricacies of different grapes and growers, wine classes from VinBoutique feature a trained sommelier showcasing an array of styles. Educate your palate and learn about proper pairing with this exclusive Local Deal for a Wine 101, Wine and Food 101 or French Wine class for $29, regularly $80, which includes tastings and appetizers.

VinBoutique offers tastings of wines not normally available in the United States; owner Danielle Cross regularly travels to France and brings back unique varietals, such as Domaine Gouffier Cremant. When we visited, we sampled a half-dozen French wines including Cremant du Borgogne Rose, 2009 Macon-Villages Chardonnay, a white and red Cotes du Rhone and Chassagne-Montrachet.

Paired with a cheese and charcuterie plate and a chocolate peanut butter cake pop for dessert, it was an informative experience specifically tailored for a small group. Menu and tastings will vary based on the class location; classes take place in wine bars and restaurants around the Denver area.
