The Deal

Budding oenophiles can learn about wine, food pairings and the finer points of tasting with this deal from Indulge Wine School. For $59, regularly $129, subscribers will hone their knowledge with a Wine 101 class, which includes tastings of award-winning wines and instruction from a professional.

This two- to three-hour course includes:

• Tastings of six different vintages, including a sparkling wine, two white, two red and one dessert wine; selections vary by location but in the past have included an award-winning Napa cabernet from Magness, a top-rated chardonnay from Sea Mist and a 91-point Chime Sonoma Pinot Noir named an Editor's Pick by Wine Enthusiast

• Appetizers to share during the class picked to complement the wine, which may include an artisan cheese plate, charcuterie plates, fresh fruits and passed hors d'oeuvres depending on location

• Instruction from teachers trained at the International Wine Guild

• A free Indulge Wine School e-book that documents the lessons
learned in class

Classes are limited to 20 students and held in private rooms at Denver-area wine bars and restaurants like Avenue Grill.
