The Deal

The great outdoors meets stylish luxury at this Wyoming ranch and spa featured in Travel + Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler magazines. This exclusively negotiated deal at The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch for $995 per person (regularly $2700) includes three nights accommodations, all meals and beverages (including alcohol) and unlimited activities from horseback riding to skeet shooting to yoga.

Travel May 25 - June 9, and children ages 4-11 are $495 per child (children younger than 4 stay for free).

Bison, elk and moose dot the grounds of this sprawling, 15,000-acre ranch, with a main lodge, "lavishly done up with antler chandeliers, furry bar stools, plaid sofas and a great deal of leather," says ForbesLife magazine. The ranch offers dining experiences from outdoor cookouts and barbecue to sit-down dinners in its Trailhead Great Room, boasting 28-foot ceilings and an open-hearth fireplace. Guests also have access to the ranch's 800-bottle wine room.

The ranch has both rooms and cabins, and some can sleep up to 10 guests. Guests will be assigned by the ranch to the room type that best suits their parties and availability.

More than 30 activities are available, with unlimited access and nearly all at no additional cost. Target practice with skeet shooting or paintball; hop a western wagon hay ride; or take a guided tour through the resident bison herd in an all-terrain Ranger vehicle. For an additional fee, massages and treatments are available at the ranch's full-service spa.

About the location: This mountain lodge is in Saratoga, part of south central Wyoming's North Platte River Valley and adjacent to Medicine Bow National Forest. It is approximately two and half hours by car from Cheyenne, four hours from Denver and five hours from Salt Lake City. Traveling by air, the closest major airport is Denver.
