The resort is very quant for our relaxing, quiet stay. I would really like to return during a warmer season as there seems to be a lot of activities to enjoy which were closed during this time (it's off season)

Room was very nice, over looking the lake. The property is very nice & clean and the staff very friendly and helpful

Hot tub was broken, Ice machines were broken, no mini refrigerator in room, TV was old and only had analog channels, no digitals channels, was not able to watch cowboys football game. Hiking trails were not clearly marked once into the trails. Parking lot had a lot of burned out lights, for security reason. Lake level was about 30 feet low so resort was not on the water any more and did not look good. OLD resort. I've stayed in better Motel 6 than this resort. Courtyard was not clearly lit up at night and almost walked into a porcupine, within 3 feet of one. Beds were a little hard. This resort is a class 1 resort.

For the most part Rooms nice - Gift shop wasnon-existant - Restaurant very understaffed - food good - but cold - no excuse for slow service

very friendly staff, since this visit was off season we could engage staff in conversion easily about the resort and its history and recommendations for thins to do and look for. We were one of the few guests present so had the entire facility our selves.

The location, while somewhat remote, is very nice. The trails are great, but you really have to be into that. I wish we had gone a bit later to see the bald eagles.

The main building is very nice. It is very up to date. The rooms aren't bad. They really need to update the bathrooms, though. The tile is in pretty poor shape. The service at the front desk was OK. The service in the restaurant was pretty bad. It took a long time to get seated, more time to take our drink orders, a lot more time for them to show up, and forever and a day to take our food orders. The waitress was not friendly. She was a bit gruff.
