$99 - Crop: 'Extraordinary' 10-Course Chef's Dinner

The Deal

Zagat lauds Crop as one of "Cleveland's best dining experiences," awarding the restaurant's cuisine an incredibly rare rank of "extraordinary to perfection" (28). Scene Magazine says "since the day Crop Bistro burst onto the Cleveland dining scene, there
has been near-unanimous consent that this restaurant kicks ass." With this exclusive Local Deal, Travelzoo subscribers will sit at the kitchen-side chef's table and receive a 10-course tasting menu for $99. Two people can get the same deal for $195.

Chef Steve Schimoler says his cuisine is "whimsical, playful and inventive," though he shuns the title of molecular gastronomy, stating, "science should enhance the experience, not be the experience."

Travelzoo subscribers will be seated at the communal chef's table with full views of the kitchen and receive a welcome cocktail upon arrival. Each 10-course meal will be suited to diners' likes and dislikes and feature luxury ingredients, such as foie gras, truffles and caviar. According to the chef, this tasting menu will be a "roller coaster of flavor" and unlike any dining experience you've had.
Crop Bistro & Bar recently moved to the former United Bank and Trust
Building, which The Plain Dealer calls "a behemoth 1925 Beaux Arts
beauty."
