- Take a seat in the lower level space and be transported to what owner and chef Didier Durand describes as a "Parisian boite," or French wine cave, with wooden tables made from Chateau wine crates and labels, live music and a global wine list hand-selected by master sommelier Jamie Pellar, chef Didier's wife and partner.
- This experience, good Thursdays through Saturdays, includes:
- Any shared appetizer, like the chef's "well-regarded charcuterie" (Time Out Chicago), or baked dates with bell pepper sauce and goat cheese or any 2 soups or salads
- Any two entrees, like the duo of duck with a roasted breast and confit of leg, signature coffee-rub Amish chicken or the Lake Superior whitefish with truffle butter and farm garden vegetables
- Any shared dessert, such as crepes with lemon curd and wild-berry preserve, creme brulee or a tasting of three chocolate truffles
- Admission for two to live performances from local pianists, blues singers and jazz musicians like Marc Pompe, Tommy Muellner and Bob Dogan
- Didier says his motto is "good food makes people happy," and redesigned the Barrel Room to reflect that sentiment.

Vouchers can be redeemed starting Friday, March 15, through June 29, 2013. Reservations are required. Call 312-467-0546 to check availability and make a reservation. Present voucher upon arrival. This deal is only valid Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Barrel Room. Not valid in upstairs dining room. This voucher is valid for 2 diners only.
