$35 - Diners' Choice: Romantic European Dinner for 2 w/Wine

The Deal

OpenTable users love dining at Pavilion Restaurant in Buffalo Grove, giving it 4.5 stars and Most Romantic and Best American Diners' Choice awards; Patch says the sibling Northbrook location is a "happy place" to spend a night out. With this deal, two people can enjoy a three-course European dinner at either north suburban spot for $35, regularly $91, which includes wine.

Select from nearly anything on the menu, including:

• An appetizer to share like the Tzar Portobello, featuring a marinated mushroom baked with goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette; foie gras a la Versailles, featuring seared foie gras served over pears; or red caviar over fresh blinis (up to $18)

• Two entrees like the citrus-glazed salmon roasted on a cedar plank, the popular grilled lamb chops cooked to order or the hearty Romanoff beef stew made with sirloin steak and topped with puff pastry (up to $26 each)

• Any dessert like the popular chocolate lava cake, crème brûlée or a classic French napoleon

• Two glasses of Mondavi wine, including pinot noir, pinot grigio, white zinfandel, Cabernet, chardonnay, merlot and Riesling

Pavilion's Northbrook location features live jazz on Friday and Saturday evenings, and diners who visit for dinner on select Fridays can enter Pavilion's attached club for an additional $5, regularly $15, featuring DJs, dancing and some of the latest hours on the North Shore.
