The Fine Print

Vouchers can be redeemed starting Tuesday, June 14 through Dec. 13, 2011. Reservations are required. Valid only at the Lincoln Park and Northbrook locations. Limit 1 voucher purchased per person, but additional may be purchased as gifts. Must be used in 1 visit. Tax and gratuity are not included. Must be 21 to drink alcohol. This deal cannot be combined with any other offers. No cash value or cash back. 

The Deal

Rated "very good" by Zagat for its fajitas and tableside guacamole, Zapatista is one of the "Top 10 Best Mexican Restaurants" in Chicago according to Gayot. For $39, two can enjoy a three-course dinner topped off with two margaritas -- a dining experience worth up to $96.

Head to the patio and dine alfresco at either the Lincoln Park or Northbrook location and choose from the following options:

Any shared appetizer (up to $14), such as:
- Made-to-order guacamole
- Calamari with roasted tomato-pineapple salsa

Any two half salads, such as:
- Grilled skirt steak with avocado and bacon
- Sauteed shrimp with pecans and goat cheese

Any two entrees (up to $28), such as:
- The popular fajitas served sizzling in a molcajete, or lava stone bowl
- Tilapia, shrimp and scallop enchiladas with chipotle salsa

Sip on a margarita fresca each in between courses to cool your palate.

According to the owners, ingredients are sourced from independent farms in Mexico when possible, including all of the 15 different kinds of chiles used in seasonings and salsas.
