Zagat recently named Oceanique Chicago's best seafood restaurant, awarding chef Mark Grosz's "dazzling [and] expertly prepared" cuisine a rare "excellent" rating (25). Time Out Chicago also praises Oceanique, saying "it’s tough to keep a comfortable, laid-back vibe while serving upscale food, but this Evanston favorite does it." With this exclusive Local Deal, two diners can enjoy a special five-course chef's menu for $80, regularly $160.

Chef Grosz focuses on seasonal, local and organic cuisine, and each night's menu will change based on the best available ingredients. This Travelzoo-exclusive five-course menu may include:

• A "chef's surprise" amuse bouche to start

• A second course with selections such as wild Maine sea scallops, Michigan corn soup, house-made country pate or Maryland soft-shell crab tempura

• A third course of a seasonal sorbet, made in-house, to cleanse the palate

• A fourth course with selections like Maine bluefin tuna served with bacon and mushrooms; Alaskan halibut with white asparagus and purple potatoes; or organic Spanish turbot with heirloom carrots and lemongrass

• A dessert course featuring a selection of freshly baked French pastries
