Sunday-Thursday stays are $89 including dinner and breakfast.

Greenville boasts a tree-lined main street with two performing arts centers and, thanks to its long history of textile manufacturing, a downtown threaded with old warehouses that  have been turned into showcases for local art.

Outside city limits, visitors can head 30 miles north to the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area, which leads hikers along more than 50 miles of trails past rock formations and cascading falls.
