The Deal

Vancouver Magazine named Hamilton Street Grill one of Vancouver's best restaurants of 2012, calling its burger "second to none." For $49, regularly $104, two can dine on a specially crafted menu of upscale steakhouse fare at this Yaletown gem, which Time Out Vancouver says is "full of delicious surprises."

Take a seat and order from an exclusive menu that includes:

A choice of salad each:
• Organic greens with Dijon vinaigrette
• Caesar salad with house-made garlic dressing and foccacia croutons

A choice of shared starter:
• Mussels with chipotle, bacon and cream
• Gorgonzola fondue with sliced garlic bread for dipping
• Prawn cocktail with spicy cocktail sauce  

A choice of main each:
• Lamb shank with honey, fig and red wine sauce
• Butter-poached arctic char with hollandaise over vegetable risotto
• Mushroom ragout with sun-dried tomatoes, caramelized onions, house gnocchi and Parmesan
• Free-range chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, dried apricots and pecans
• Short rib pasta with cafe au lait sauce, arugula and Parmesan
• Ground steak burger with house-smoked bacon, aged cheddar and Kennebec fries
• Certified Angus Beef New York strip loin with crispy onions, mushroom sauce and garlic mashed potatoes

A dessert to share:
• Warm gingerbread pudding with caramel sauce and ginger and pumpkin gelato, called "famously spectacular" by Time Out Vancouver
