The Deal

With a menu that knocks it out of the park, according to the Santa Barbara Independent, and a "very good to excellent" (21) rating from Zagat, Coast Restaurant & Bar at Canary Hotel welcomes Travelzoo subscribers with an exclusive half-off Sunday brunch. For $36, two people get three courses each plus two mimosas, regularly $72.

The Independent also notes chef Brian Parks' use of sustainable and local ingredients in his "farm and coast to table" menu, as well as his "sense of simple elegance." This brunch includes:

• Any two starters, like the shrimp cocktail with Coast cocktail sauce and jumbo shrimp, a half dozen oysters, or the tortilla soup with chicken, avocado and jack cheese

• Any two entrees, such as the lemon ricotta pancakes with raspberries and crème fraiche, the Coast eggs Benedict (with Canadian bacon, spinach, and hollandaise), the smoked chicken cobb salad (with artisan bacon and smoked blue cheese) or the prime rib sandwich on ciabatta

• Any two desserts from the dessert bar, featuring pies, cakes, farmers' market fresh fruits and an ice cream sundae station
