The Deal

Arch Rock Fish in downtown Santa Barbara was featured in Bon Appétit for its fresh, noteworthy seafood and was named in the top two for Best Appetizers and Best Happy Hour of 2012 by the Santa Barbara Restaurant Guide. With this Local Deal for $59, get a four-course dinner for two and a bottle of wine, regularly $112.

The meal includes:

• A shared appetizer, such as a pound of beer-steamed mussels with garlic and shallots -- recommended by Bon Appétit -- or an East Coast lobster tail with drawn butter (up to $14)

• Two soups or salads: choose a cup of clam chowder, small Caesar or small house salad

• Two entrees, such as the toasted lobster roll with lettuce and lobster salad; seared ahi tuna with spicy cucumber; or almond-crusted sole with asparagus, fennel and arugula (up to $24 each)

• A shared dessert, such as the Arch Rock sundae with ice cream, caramelized bananas, toasted cashews and whipped cream

• Bottle of red or white wine (merchant-selected; value of $28)

Named after the Arch Rock on Anacapa Island, the seafood eatery is part-owned by former soccer player Cobi Jones and chef Scott Leibfried, sous chef on FOX's "Hell's Kitchen."
