Vouchers can be redeemed starting Wednesday, Sept. 14 through Dec. 28, 2011. Reservations are required. Must be used in 1 visit. This deal cannot be used on Sept. 22, 2011. Not valid on holidays and holiday weekends. No cash value or cash back. This deal cannot be combined with any other offer. Tax and gratuity are not included. Must be 21 years old or older to drink alcohol. 

The Deal

The Santa Barbara Independent praises Coast Restaurant & Bar at Canary Hotel, saying that chef Brian Parks' "new menu knocks it out of the park." With this Travelzoo deal, two people can sit down to an "intimate and romantic" dinner with wine for $59, regularly $128.

Zagat rates both the food and decor at this downtown Santa Barbara restaurant "very good to excellent" (21 and 24, respectively). This meal of local and sustainable cuisine includes:

• Any two starters, like the roasted baby abalone with ogo-cucumber mignonette or the kampachi crudo with cerignola olives and radish salad

• Any two entrees, such as the line caught salmon with English pea ragout; the grilled ribeye with heirloom tomatoes and truffle tater tots; or the customer favorite roasted sablefish with corn and fava bean succotash, which The Independent says is "cooked to perfection"

• Any two desserts, such as the bread pudding with blueberry ice cream or the lemon cheesecake

• Any two glasses of red or white wine (up to $11 each)
