The Fine Print

With this deal, you don't have to decide yet when to go. Just purchase a voucher from Travelzoo then call the hotel directly at 800-966-6490 to make a reservation for desired travel dates. Once the room is reserved with the hotel, hotel cancellation policy prevails, and cancellations or changes must be made seven days prior to arrival or the voucher is subject to forfeiture. The Deal

Explore the charming streets of Monterey's historic downtown while taking in the refreshing coastal air. Travelzoo has negotiated an exclusive $99 package for two at the Monterey Hotel that cuts more than 50% off what you would normally pay.

Guests will stay in a historic king room with free Wi-Fi. In addition to wine tasting passes, continental breakfast and $25 to spend on lunch at the new Café Trieste are also included. Warm up with a hot cider, Chai latte or a dark Roobios tea. Scrumptious menu items include a hearty meatball sandwich on french roll with fresh mozzarella or the vegetarian panini with roasted veggies, pesto, portabella mushroom, artichoke hearts and basil.

The Victorian-style hotel sits on Alvarado Street, downtown Monterey's main strip dotted with restaurants and shops. Take a stroll to Fisherman's Wharf or drive five minutes to Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Note: The hotel offers valet parking for $17 per day, or public parking is available for $7 per day.
