The Deal

Empire Restaurant & Lounge, which opened in June, "makes its mark" at Fan Pier as one of Gayot's Hot 10 and Top 10 Sushi Restaurants in Boston. With this Local Deal for $55, regularly $108, two can savor dinner and drinks at the OpenTable Diners' Choice-winning restaurant applauded for its vibrant scene and hot spot appeal.

Begin dinner with two signature cocktails, like Hot Night in Bangkok with plum-infused sake and sriracha or a peach mai tai, before a dinner that includes $80 to spend on anything from the menu, such as:

• One shareable appetizer, like lobster scallion pancake, beef teppanyaki with cashew dipping sauce or tuna spring rolls with avocado mousse

• Two entrees, such as beef pho served in a 24-hour secret broth; Alaskan black cod with barbecue bok choy; or a selection of rolls from the sushi bar, like sockeye salmon and mango or blackened snapper roll

Or for $199, save $160 on dinner for four people including a choice of three shareable appetizers; one shareable noodle or rice dish; three signature maki or nigiri plus; and three main or steak entrees.
