Since opening in July, Vejigantes Restaurant has been praised in publications including The Boston Globe, Thrillist and The Phoenix, which says the "sophisticated" Puerto Rican cuisine is "ferociously good." With this Local Deal for $25, Travelzoo subscribers receive $50 to spend on lunch or dinner at the brand new restaurant in South End.

Take a seat in the "festive" dining room that Thrillist calls a "colorful haven" meant to "evoke the feel of walking through Old San Juan."  The offer comes with $50 worth of food -- enough for lunch or dinner for two, which could include:

• One shareable appetizer, such as crab meat empanadas or grilled chicken kabobs with Vejigantes' barbecue sauce
