The Deal

Soak in majestic views from the tops of Mt. Baldy in Angeles National Forest while dancing to live Americana, blues and alternative roots music with this Local Deal. For $18 per person, spend a day in the mountains at the inaugural Big Horn Music Festival, either on Saturday, Aug. 25 or Sunday, Aug. 26. Admission to the festival is normally $37 per day and includes unlimited chairlift use and camping access.

The two-day lineup includes live music by The Stone Foxes, a band the LAist praised for its "classic 1960s sound," Eric McFadden Trio, Chris Darrow, Dustbowl Revival and Black Tongued Bells. Mt. Baldy Ski Lifts features three outdoor stages, including a "sunset stage" with panoramic views of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

Or, choose from these other options: for $32 (regularly $65), get an adult unlimited access pass, which includes admission on both days, camping access and unlimited chairlift use; for $11 (regularly $22), get a child day pass; or for $17 (regularly $35), get a child unlimited access pass.
