The Deal

For $16 per person, Travelzoo subscribers can attend this Saturday's "Legends of New Orleans" concert outdoors at the picturesque park, adjacent to the historic Queen Mary ship in Long Beach Port. Admission to this eight-hour event is normally $35.

The event's lineup of live music features Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Allen Toussaint, the Rebirth Brass Brand and Irma Thomas. Thomas is known as the Soul Queen of New Orleans, with a voice NPR says is "a true New Orleans treasure."

Attendees can also purchase libations and Cajun-style food from specialty vendors.

Travelzoo Tip: The event takes place on a large grassy area, so feel free to bring a blanket or chairs to relax in.
