The Deal

Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails was named one of the country's top dining establishments for American cuisine by OpenTable last year, and Zagat rates its fresh Southern cuisine, created with ingredients from the farm out back, "extraordinary" (26). For $59, regularly $95, two people can dine on a three-course dinner in a historic 150-year-old farmhouse with three fireplaces and "wonderful" outdoor seating (Zagat).

This culinary experience, normally $95, consists of:

• Any two appetizers, soups or salads, with choices like a fried green tomato stack with goat cheese and tomato fondue, sweet potato and shrimp fritters with red chile syrup and basil oil, and a cured meat and cheese platter

• Any two entrees, like Southern-fried chicken with buttermilk mashed potatoes; grilled rosemary-marinated petite filet served with baked bleu cheese macaroni and cheese, sauteed spinach with roasted garlic and golden raisins with red wine bacon demi-glaze; or sesame-crusted mountain trout with scallion-mashed potatoes and asparagus

• A dessert to share, such as seasonal berry cobbler garnished with vanilla ice cream and fresh mint; or warm carrot cake with a buttermilk glaze, cream cheese frosting and toasted pecans
