The Deal

Zagat rates the Italian fare at Pasta da Pulcinella "very good to excellent" (24) with "hard-to-top" house-made pastas and other "delicious" dishes. Nestled in a 1930s bungalow in Midtown, the "charming" cottage is highly recommended by Frommer's. With this deal, two diners can enjoy two courses and wine for $35, regularly $74.

Select from nearly the entire menu with:

• Any two salads like traditional caprese with fresh mozzarella, or the signature Pulcinella with mixed field greens in balsamic vinaigrette

• Any two entrees including potato gnocchi with sauteed salmon, lobster ravioli or tortelli di mele, the most popular dish according to Frommer's, filled with browned Granny Smith apples, sausage and parmesan

• Two glasses of wine, beer or soda up to $10 each, such as Bottega Vinaia Pinot Noir (Trentino) or Cusumano Syrah (Sicily); or use the $20 value toward any bottle on the wine list
