The Deal

Cruise past nearly 2,000 miles of shoreline “ringed by red cliffs that twist off into 96 major canyons and countless inlets” (Fodor’s). This exclusive offer from Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas includes three- or four-day getaways aboard a selection of houseboats. Rates start at $809 for a boat that sleeps 10 (rate is for all guests, not per person), making a three-day trip about $80 per person.

All houseboats feature a water slide, upper deck sunshade, refrigerator, outdoor gas grill, microwave, television, radio, air conditioner/heater and convertible or pullout double beds. Pick from two marinas on either end of the lake; Wahweap Marina in Page, Arizona, has an onsite grocery market, and Bullfrog Marina in Bullfrog, Utah, is a two-hour drive from markets.

Frommer’s notes “Lake Powell is as amazing a sight as the Grand Canyon,” with dramatic sandstone rocks including Rainbow Bridge, the world’s largest natural bridge. In Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, the lake is the second largest man-made lake in the U.S.

The standard 46’ Expedition sleeps 10 people with one stateroom and bathroom; the mid-level 48’ Navigator sleeps 14 people with three staterooms and one bathroom; and the luxury 59’ Discovery XL sleeps 10 people with two staterooms and two bathrooms.

Terms and Conditions
To reserve a boat, pay the refundable damage deposit ($600 for 46’ Expedition and 48’ Navigator or $1000 for 59’ Discovery XL) at time of booking. Once the boat is reserved, cancellation policy prevails. Cancellations made 31-60 days prior to arrival will forfeit 50% of the damage deposit; cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival will forfeit 100% of the damage deposit. Changes made 31 days or more prior to arrival will incur a $100 change fee; changes made 30 days or less prior to arrival will forfeit 50% of the damage deposit. This deal cannot be combined with other offers. No cash value. Taxes (CSA 4.5%, UPT 3%, tax 6.95%) and a vehicle parking fee ($15 for seven days) are collected upon arrival along with optional daily waiver of liability insurance ($23 for 46’ Expedition, $27 for 48’ Navigator or $30 for 59’ Discovery XL). Houseboats come with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank of fuel. Must be used in one visit.
