Upgrade to a junior suite -- with 40% more floor space and a separate living area with sleeper sofa -- for $50 more per night (regularly +$75).
The turn-of-the-century structures in these upscale neighborhoods house embassies, hip restaurants and bars, and chic boutiques. The White House is less than a mile south.
