Spend an afternoon on an exclusive, free guided tour of the William S. Hart Museum, a member of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. Tours are held from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Sundays through June.
Set in the former Spanish colonial revival mansion of silent film actor William S. Hart, the museum houses an extensive Western artwork collection, mementos from early Hollywood and Native American artifacts. The museum also includes a historic ranch house dating back to 1910.
The guided tour will begin at the Ranch House followed by a nature walk through the William S. Hart Park up to the mansion. From here, visitors will be shown several behind-the-scenes attractions such as the Observation Tower and the Projection Room, which are typically not available to the public.
