This week, the cost of Mexico winter vacations -- including nonstop air from Cincinnati, seven nights at the 4-star beachfront Gran Caribe Real Resort & Spa, and unlimited meals and entertainment -- was reduced to $799 per person, including taxes.

This Vacation Express deal is less than the cost of the resort alone, essentially making the airfare free and the entire package nearly 50% off. Travel is available for Sunday departures on Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27.

Peak winter travel dates from February through mid-March, including typical spring break weeks, as well as April-June are $100-$200 more per person (regularly $1450-$1700).

The deal is part of a larger Mexico sale that also includes the option to stay at Gran Porto Real, a beachfront Playa del Carmen resort, for $100 more per person.
