Wind down at Wuksachi Lodge nestled among the giant trees in Sequoia National Park for $258 and up for a two-night stay -- a savings of $100 compared with peak summer prices.

Visitors will also receive a complimentary park entry for two people when staying any day through Nov. 30. Each room has handcrafted wood furnishings, and features forest or mountain views. Grab a meal at the restaurant before hitting the trails, or stop at the on-site retail shop for essentials.

Surrounded by the peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Wuksachi Lodge is centrally located, making a great base from which to explore the park. The world’s largest tree, General Sherman, is a few minutes walk away. While on the hiking trails, catch sweeping views of the mountainscape, or a glimpse of the black bears or endangered bighorn sheep that call the park home.

Not available on: Sept. 14-15, 24-25, 29; Oct. 5-9, 15-16; Nov. 10-12, 22-23
