For $135 per person, per night (taxes and gratuities included), visit on these nights:

  • Oct. 27-31

Peak-season dates Jan. 3-15 cost $175 per person, per night (regularly $507).

The sprawling beachfront resort is in Guanacaste, on Costa Rica's Pacific Coast. Highlights include: eight restaurants, five bars, 24-hour room service, nonmotorized water sports like kayaking, a kids club for ages 4-12 and "the largest pool in Central America," according to Fodor's.
