Rates have fallen as much as 45% at The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers, the official hotel of the Boston Red Sox and close to top sights and shopping.

Stay through summer at the following nightly rates:

$99 ... July 1-4, 13-15, 29-31
$119 ... Aug. 1-2, 8-13, 18-31
$159 ... July 5-12, 16-20, 25-28

All other dates through August are also available at discounted rates.

The posh shops of Newbury Street are a short walk away, and Boston Common is just two blocks over. Several mass transit stations are also close by, offering quick trips to dozens of attractions, from Fenway Park to the Paul Revere House.

Note: Rates are nonrefundable and non-cancelable. There is a two-night minimum on Saturday stays.
