Devils Lake Transportation
The Devils Lake Municipal Airport (DVL) serves the Devils Lake region. Amtrak provides rail service to and from Devils Lake as well. The Empire Builder train route passes through the city, connecting it to Seattle and Portland to the west and Chicago to the east. Boating, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing are other popular forms of transportation throughout the Devils Lake area. Most visitors opt to rent a car from one of the several rental agencies in the area. There are plenty of scenic routes that drivers can enjoy, including U.S. Highway 2 as well as State Highway 20, 57 and 19.
