Caracas Hotel Tips
Although Caracas' weather is warm year-round, the city does experience a rainy and a dry season. For many travelers, the best time to visit is from December through April. This is when the city experiences its driest weather with a total of no more than six to seven rainy days per month on average. Temperatures during this drier period float between the mid 50s and the high 80s. If you plan on visiting during this popular season, search for hotels a couple of months in advance at least.
The rainy season begins in May and doesn't let up until December. In fact, the months of June through August often receive as much as 19 days of rain per month on average. In addition, temperatures remain high during the day. Although the weather may not be as cooperative during this wet season, travelers can often find the best Caracas flight deals and hotel rates. November and December are especially good months for budget travelers as the rain begins to taper off and temperatures begin to drop.
