Virgin America Rolls Out In-Flight Voter Registration

In-flight magazines and Sudoku puzzles are traditional ways to pass time on a flight, but Virgin America has a new option for the more politically minded passenger. Through a partnership with Rock the Vote, the airline lets passengers register to vote while mid-flight.

Through Election Day Nov. 6, use your mobile device to scan the seat-back entertainment screen in front of you and access the registration app. If you pay for in-flight Wi-Fi, you can register immediately; otherwise, wait until you have Wi-Fi back on ground to complete the process.

Take advantage of registration on all of Virgin’s flights, including a new route from San Francisco to Washington, D.C.
