Vegas Vacation in the Cards? Check Top 20 for Deals

Thanks to this week’s Top 20, travelers nationwide can take an over-the-top Vegas trip without going over budget. From the old-fashioned casino nightlife downtown to the glitz and glamour of The Strip, Las Vegas offers something for everybody -- but typically comes with a hefty price tag. Our list this week offers Sin City savings up to 70% and deals on hotel stays, restaurants, spa visits and top shows.

Getting there: Our friends at Fly.com found fares up to $150 off regular roundtrip pricing for travel select dates into December. Many flights are even nonstop, leaving more time for fun in the sun.

Staying there: The 4-star Palms Casino Resort, named one of the "Best Places to Spot Celebrities" (Best of Las Vegas 2013), has discounted visits May 19 - Sept. 30 by a whopping 70%. Midweek stays range from $49-$59 per night, and more than 25 Friday-Saturday dates at $99-$119 per night. This deal includes daily passes to the breakfast buffet and club passes to Ghostbar. A cool perk of staying at Palms is the new 24-hour checkout policy in which guests who made reservations online can check out of their room on their departure day at the same time they checked in (up to 11 p.m.).

While at the Palms: Our Local Deals team has negotiated two offers at the Palms property. For $35, sit down to an all-you-can-eat dinner for two at Bistro Buffet. Gayot praises the "quality choices [that] satisfy a spectrum of tastes,” and this deal comes with unlimited wine and beer.

Or pamper yourself with a massage or facial at the newly opened Recharge Spa for $75. This Local Deal includes spa amenity access including the Jacuzzi and fitness center.

Show deals:

  • Shania Twain's residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been called "big, fun and full of surprises" by the Las Vegas Sun. Tickets to the show in the intimate venue are now $55 (reg. $99) for 7:30 p.m. performances May 20 - July 26.
  • "Panda!" at The Palazzo is the first Chinese-produced show to have a residency in Vegas and has been called "dazzling" and "a knockout" by the Las Vegas Sun. Tickets are now 45% off for performance through July 7; discounted prices start at $37.02.
  • Save up to 50% on tickets to "Raiding the Rock Vault," a supergroup of members from classic rock bands perform anthems from the '60s, '70s and '80s. This show at the Las Vegas Hotel (LVH) features rockers from Heart, Whitesnake, Survivor and more.
