Vegas Takes a Gamble on New Properties

Las Vegas continues to roll the dice by opening new hotels and renovating popular hot spots. New accommodations can start out pretty pricey at first, but midweek rates can save significant dollars. Even checking in on a Thursday to stay over a weekend can save some cash.

Some new hotels and venues to check out include:

  • The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas -- opening in December -- in the heart of The Strip near Bellagio
  • The Rumor Las Vegas across the street from Hard Rock Hotel Casino --opened in August
  • CityCenter development -- opened last December -- home to ARIA Resort & Casino, Vdara Hotel & Spa and Mandarin Oriental
  • The new HRH All-Suite Tower at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino -- opened last December

Las Vegas continues to offer a variety of accommodations, attractions, shows and restaurants to please any type of traveler. Some casino hotels offer free buffets or two-for-one show tickets to add value to the room package. While other casino resorts offer the ultimate in luxury for travelers willing to enjoy the lap of Vegas luxury at any cost.Rates take an affordable dip in the first couple weeks of December before Christmas and New Year’s Eve weekend, the most popular time to visit Vegas.
