Take in Ontario's Fabulous Fall

Eye-popping oranges, bright golds and spectacular reds -- each autumn, Ontario’s incredible changing colours set the scene for the perfect fall getaway. The best time for leaf-peeping is from mid-September to late October, but even as November draws near, there is still a ton of classic Ontario beauty to take in.

According to Ontario Tourism’s Fall Colour Report, the Niagara Falls Region, especially the drive along the Niagara Parkway, from Niagara-on-the Lake to Fort Erie, is currently “simply outstanding.” Head out to a local pumpkin fest, explore side roads by car or motorcycle, hiking trails by foot or bike, or experience the fall colours from one of the many great golf courses, wineries and orchards that populate this region.

After breathing in all that fresh harvest air, cozy up by the fire at a historical inn, such as Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Charles Inn or the Keefer Mansion Inn, a Niagara region landmark.
