Qatar Named Top Airline by Skytrax

The top 10 airlines of the year have been named by Skytrax at the 2011 World Airline Awards in Paris, with Qatar Airlines taking home the top spot. Skytrax surveyed 18.8 million airline customers to find the rankings, with people of more than 100 nationalities participating.

Air New Zealand, named No. 7 in the ranking, made this week’s Top 20 list with its air pass, which offers travelers four flights for price of one.
