New York Hotel Rooms Drop Below $200 This Winter

A snowy carriage ride in Central Park, ice skating beneath the famous Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center and admiring the holiday windows along Fifth Avenue -- all iconic New York City activities during the winter. Travelers will be pleased to know that the temperature isn’t the only thing dropping during the holiday season and winter in the Big Apple -- here at Travelzoo we’ve noticed hotel rates are also dipping under $200.

Chilly weather often means hot rates in Manhattan. Take in the glittering lights of Times Square and then head back to the nearby  Four Points by Sheraton Midtown – Times Square, for just $145 per night. Or, if you’re planning on spending an extended amount of time in the city, stretch out in a room that’s larger than most New York apartments for $199 per night at The Manhattan Club.

So pack up that winter coat and snuggle up with family or a loved one on a fun-filled jaunt to the city. There’s plenty more great deals to be had - check ‘em out here.
