InterContinental Hotels Continues Checked-Bag Fee Promotion

Lamenting extra fees that have added to the cost of your airfare? In a promotion running through spring, InterContinental Hotels is helping defray that cost. Guests at the hotel chain will be reimbursed for checked-bag fees. And travelers who stay any weekend through April and pay with a Visa card will receive a prepaid Visa card worth as much as $100. 

If you’ve stayed at one of the chain’s 4,400 hotels two consecutive nights over a weekend since Jan. 1, you can fill out this form online to get reimbursed. InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites are participating brands.

This promotion can be combined with some outstanding deals at hotels across the country, including:

• $98 ... April 17-24 at a Chicago hotel near the Magnificent Mile
• $109-$112 ... weekends through March 26 at a 4-star Dallas hotel near the Galleria
• $139 ... nearly all dates through April at an LA hotel near Beverly Hills
