Airlines are slashing fares for fall travel to Europe, and Icelandair joined the crowd Friday by announcing a sale of its own.
To mark its one-year anniversary of launching service from Seattle, the airline offers flights starting at $365 roundtrip (plus taxes) to Reykjavik, Iceland, and nine European cities, including Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Frankfurt. Travel in November from Boston, New York City and Seattle and save as much as 20% compared with fares charged for the same routes by other airlines.
Icelandair has been promoting fares for fall in the past few weeks, but these are the lowest we’ve seen them run this year. The carrier is the only airline to fly non-stop to Iceland’s capital of Reykjavik.
