Globetrotting and Gift Giving

For those of you who took advantage of the myriad of deals between Thanksgiving and Christmas, pick up something unique this year while globetrotting instead of the usual holiday gifts for family and friends.

All destinations have distinctive offerings sure to delight loved ones, and locals are usually more than willing to help you find a deal on their specialty. Pick up chocolate covered macadamia nuts while in Hawaii, turquoise jewelry in Sedona, or painted hand-held fans from street vendors in Madrid. Throw a lightweight collapsible bag and some clear bubble wrap into your luggage to safely transport the presents and souvenirs home. Be sure to keep the presents unwrapped until you are home.

Take advantage of these holiday deals as an excuse to shop for gifts.
