Pack up a picnic, dig out the blankets and head to Chicago’s Millennium Park this summer for a series of free, family-friendly outdoor concerts.
“Downtown Sound: New Music Mondays” is in its third season of bringing an eclectic mix of musicians to play free shows at Jay Pritzker Pavilion every Monday night through July 25. The double-bill shows start at 6:30 p.m., but be sure to get there early -- once the temperatures heat up, there’s no keeping Chicagoans indoors.
