Deals Heat up in South Florida
We were wowed this week by just how much there is to see and do in South Florida, all at a discount, going into peak season. If these deals don’t tempt you to leave winter weather at home, what will?
- How to get there? From cities across the country, fares to South Florida have been cut. Check Fly.com for the best dates and rates from your hometown. Fares start at $55 each way.
- Where to stay? Beautiful bungalow rooms at the AAA 4-Diamond Boca Raton Resort and Club have been discounted by 65% for weekends Jan. 7 - Feb. 13. The rooms at this foodie paradise are now $169 per night. This resort is also a favorite among tennis players; it’s been named to Tennis Magazine’s 50 Greatest Tennis Resorts list.
- What to do? Head to South Beach and get yourself some mojitos and a fab meal at the hot Asia de Cuba. For $89, enjoy a four-course dinner for two, featuring signature dishes such as miso-cured Alaskan black cod or Marinated crispy tofu in a soy lime chipotle marinade.
- What else to see?: Use Palm Beach as a base and pop over to the Bahamas on a two-night cruise for just $79 per person. The MS Bahamas Celebration has sailings every other day through February. The ship features a two-deck nightclub, full-service spa and a casino.
