2,300 Routes Discounted in 72-Hour Sale

Tuesday morning, AirTran and Southwest launched aggressive 72-hour sales, one good enough to save some precious vacation days for travel this fall.

More than 2,300 routes have been discounted for travel coast to coast. One-way fares start at $49 and top out at $139 for travel mid-August through mid-November. As the day progresses, other airlines will match these prices. Be flexible in travel dates to get these discounted fares: Fridays and Sundays are blacked out at these rates.
