$37 & up -- Moscow Ballet's 'Nutcracker,' Save up to $20*

By Kristyn Schiavone

Since it was first danced in 19th-century Russia to Tchaikovsky's original score, “The Nutcracker” ballet has become a worldwide holiday favorite. Travelzoo subscribers have an early opportunity to save up to $20 per ticket for Moscow Ballet’s “Great Russian Nutcracker” this season.

The following seating levels are available for three performances Nov. 22-23 at McFarlin Auditorium at Southern Methodist University:

  • First & Second Balcony ... $36.50 (reg. $48)
  • First Balcony ... $53.50 (reg. $68)
  • Main Floor ... $68 (reg. $88)

Note: Rear Second Balcony seats are also available for $28.

With handmade costumes and classical choreography, "The Great Russian Nutcracker" pays homage to the original ballet. D Magazine lists it among the best "Nutcracker" productions to see in Texas, calling it "beautifully crafted" and "exquisitely danced."
