After a successful Broadway run, the new touring production of "Evita" makes a stop in Houston, and tickets are more than 30% off for select shows. The Hollywood Reporter calls this recent Tony Award nominee for Best Revival of a Musical a "ravishing spectacle."

Performances at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, and Wednesday, May 7, at the Hobby Center cost:

  • $37.15 (reg. $55) ... Front Gallery
  • $45.60 (reg. $68) ... Rear Orchestra and Mezzanine

This is the first new Broadway production of the seven-time Tony Award-winning musical in more than 30 years. Directed by Tony Award winner Michael Grandage and choreographed by Rob Ashford, "Evita" tells the rags-to-riches true story of Eva Perón, who rose to fame as Argentina's First Lady before her tragic death at age 33. The show includes popular songs such as "Don't Cry for Me Argentina."
