This July, Sublime with Rome, Pennywise and many more will take the stage during Summerfest at The Backyard Live Oak Amphitheater -- an open-air venue in the Hill Country steeped in history. Subscribers can enjoy the music festival atmosphere and hear new songs in addition to favorites like "Wrong Way," "What I Got" and "Santeria." Tickets are now $25, regularly $35.
The doors of the The Backyard Live Oak Amphitheater open for Summerfest, sponsored by Cricket Wireless, on Sunday, July 28, at 2 p.m. and the show starts at 2:30 p.m. Bands include Sublime with Rome, Pennywise, HB Surround Sound, Ashes of Babylon, Seedless, Fayuca and Judivan Roots.
Sublime with Rome is a collaboration between Eric Wilson, a co-founder of ska-punk band Sublime, and guitarist Rome Ramirez. Sublime with Rome sold out a 2010 tour before recording its debut album, "Yours Truly," in 2011.
The Backyard Live Oak Amphitheater has hosted acts like Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Paul Simon. It is known for its personal and unique natural setting. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the venue.
