Swirl, sip and savor notable wines from countries such as Spain, Portugal, New Zealand and the U.S. during the international wine-tasting event "Around the World in 80 Sips" at the Golden Gate Club in San Francisco's Presidio. Tickets are now 50% off regular prices for this event and include unlimited one-ounce wine samples accompanied by light appetizers.

Tickets for the event on Friday, Feb. 7 are:

  • $37.50 (reg. $75) ... General Admission from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
  • $62.50 (reg. $125) ... VIP / Early Admission -- Enjoy unlimited tastings and special VIP wines during the extra crowd-free hour from 6:30-7:30 p.m. as well as access to the Club Wine Sisterhood.

  • $87.50 (reg. $175) ... Best of the West Educational Seminar -- Good for the VIP attendance and access to the 50-person, 50-minute seminar presented by Crimson Wine Group. Begins at 5:30 p.m.

  • $97.50 (reg. $195) ... The Sherry-Lehmann Suite -- Limited to 40 people, this suite offers a rare opportunity to try some of the world's top wines in one place throughout the duration of the event. Wines will be accompanied by hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and private seating not available in the VIP/General tasting. Opens at 6:30.

The event is presented by Bottlenotes, a premiere wine community that encourages wine enthusiasts to learn more about boutique and estate wineries from around the world. All attendees will receive a commemorative wine glass.
