Starring Tony Award-winning film and TV actor BD Wong ("M. Butterfly," "Law & Order: Special Victim Unit"), "The Orphan of Zhao" takes the stage at the A.C.T.'s Geary Theater, and Travelzoo subscribers can save up to 65% on tickets.

The following seating levels and pricing is available for all performances June 4-15:

  • Balcony …  $10 (reg. $20-$30)
  • Mezzanine …  $20 (reg. $40-$55)
  • Orchestra …  $30 (reg. $50-$85)

Note: The best savings on Orchestra seats -- 65% -- is on weekend performances.

One of the oldest pieces of Chinese theater, "The Orphan of Zhao" is the story of an orphaned child who discovers the truth behind his origins after a violent coup. Described as the Chinese "Hamlet," this tale was the first Chinese play to be translated in the West and has inspired numerous operas, plays and movies.

Travelzoo Tip: Special audience events include Bike to the Theater Night on June 4 -- theater-goers who ride their bikes can receive free valet parking and discounted pre-show drinks; a prologue discussion with the director before the performance on June 10; and Theater on the Couch on June 13, a post show discussion with one of San Francisco’s leading therapists.

Book by June 15.
Fees of $1.50-$5 apply. Fees are determined by venue and ticketing agent and not by Travelzoo. Offer valid in the orchestra, mezzanine and balcony sections only. Restrictions may apply. Subject to availability. No refunds or exchanges. All ticket sales are final.
